  • Transformation submissions: if you submit a transformation story, we receive the text, images, and any health-related information you choose to share.

Information We Collect Automatically

  • Server logs: our hosting provider records standard request data such as IP address, browser type, referrer, and pages visited. This is used for troubleshooting, security, and basic traffic insights.
  • Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, time on page, traffic sources, approximate location). Google Analytics may set cookies and process data per Google's privacy policy.
  • SEO crawlers: tools such as Semrush and Ahrefs may crawl this website to index public pages and analyze SEO performance. These crawlers do not collect personal data from visitors — they read publicly accessible content the same way search engines do.
  • Practitioner profile analytics: when you view or click links on a practitioner's public profile (website, email, phone), we record an anonymized event so the practitioner can see how their profile performs. We hash your IP address with a site-specific salt before storing it — we do not store the original IP. Each event is deduplicated to one per practitioner per day per visitor.
  • Cookies: we use a small number of cookies essential for the website to function (session cookie, CSRF protection cookie), plus analytics cookies set by Google Analytics. We do not use advertising cookies.

This website integrates with the following services that may receive limited data when you interact with them:

  • Google Analytics: tracks aggregated, anonymized usage statistics (page views, sessions, traffic sources, device type). Google may process this data outside the European Union per their own privacy terms.

  • Google Analytics retains user-level data per its default retention setting (typically 14 months).
  • Server logs are typically rotated within 30–90 days by our hosting provider.
